At the age of 50, after never having art classes, I decided I wanted to take on a new challenge. I started checking out classes in my area and was lucky enough to stumble on an ad for Lucy Gardiner, art teacher. Lucy gave me a great start, teaching me the basics in painting with acrylics and also hand-building with clay. Her classes were small, so there was time for individual attention. I will always be grateful for Lucy's knowledge and her support in helping me develop as an artist.
